The Streaming Giant Selects Perfect Performer for Mr. 2 in the Hit Series Third Season
The Secret Organization is poised to play a huge role in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, though the true confrontation won’t unfold until season 3, and a beloved, audience-beloved member has now been chosen.
The streaming service revealed this week that the skilled actor is now part of the One Piece cast for the third season and will embody Bentham. Bon Clay can use their power to transform into an identical duplicate of any person they’ve made contact with with their dominant hand. The actor, who is gender non-conforming and goes by they/them, will play a interpretation of that role reimagined as gender non-binary, instead of as a drag artist, in the live-action series, differing from the initial comic and anime.
This performer is joined by a number of recently announced actors tasked with bringing the group to the screen, including chief Mr. 0, portrayed by Joe Manganiello, an emerging star as another operative, and an accomplished actor, who also joins the lineup as King Nefertari Cobra of the desert kingdom.
Although the role is a major member of Baroque Works, the individual will be introduced in One Piece season 3. Considering the second season set to cover the Little Garden segment, this marks a major departure in the timing of the character’s debut, one that could indicate additional alterations to the story’s structure.
Their mix of sharp comedic timing and deep sensitivity makes them a perfect fit for the role. Besides their current animated role in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and multiple awards for writing and starring in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, highlighting the versatility they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s highly regarded roles.
The streaming service’s real-life One Piece program is set to return for its season two on March 10, 2026.
